Public Parking

7/18/03: Eric Wong hangs out with his rock hero, Bill Mallonee. For more info on Bill, visit www.billmallonee.net.
Welcome to rock band Public Parking's official Web site.
This Berkeley, Calif., band consists of Eric Wong, a business magazine editor, and Andrew Gi, an appraisal assistant.
What do they sound like? Well, kinda like Asian-Americans doing the Replacements doing Sunday School sing-alongs on a budget.
"So yeah, I wanna rock, er, RAWK!" says Eric. And he hopes you do too.
Whats New
11/17/03: Eric is releasing MP3s of three of his best songs done by himself or under the Public Parking moniker.
Download them here. Sorry, the actual song names don't match the file names.
1. Acting Out a Play   (Sept. 2003)
2. Just a Dream   (March 2003. Thanks for the drum fills, Andrew Gi!)
3. Good-bye & Forget   (April 2002)
9/30/03: Eric has scrapped a dozen songs for a planned solo album and is starting over. "After listening to a lot of Bob Dylan and Sam Hui, I want to change my approach," he said.
7/29/03: Public Parking is proud to present new music by local protégé, Zecko del Mundo. This one-man band is very mysterious. The less said, the better. Download the tracks at www.harvestberkeley.org/~zecko.
3/21/03: Asian American Rising, a Web site documenting up and coming Asian-American pop artists, names Public Parking band of the week. See for yourself at www.aarising.com/fart.
